Archbold's Summer Ecology Club - SIGN UP NOW
Students (ages 7-12) from across the country are meeting virtually to share their love of nature and learn about ecological science with Archbold Biological Station and Archbold's Buck Island Ranch. Archbold is a world-renowned research organization located in the Headwaters of Florida's Everglades. We focus on topics such as biodiversity, rare Florida species (plants, birds, panthers, and more), sustainable agriculture, and fire ecology.
Summer Ecology Club includes a month of activities, like at-home nature investigations and virtual meet-ups and field trips. Students speak with researchers and learn about their science careers. For those close enough to Venus, Florida, we are hoping to add some in-person events, too, like a wet hike through a seasonal pond.
