We are proud to recognize our August Kindergarten Students of the Month!
During August, our PAWS Up focus was P = Practice Kindness. These Kindergarten Bulldogs were recognized by their teachers for the many ways they make others feel welcomed, supported, and cared for each day.
At Venus Primary, being a PAWS Up Bulldog means:
P = Practice Kindness
A = Always Be Trustworthy
W = Work Hard
S = Show Respect
Here is what their teachers shared about these amazing students:
Jayla Amos – Jayla brings a positive attitude and a kind heart to school each day. She helps new students learn routines, makes sure others are included, encourages her classmates to do their best, and notices when someone needs a little extra support. Whether she is welcoming a new friend or helping a classmate through a difficult moment, Jayla is always ready to show kindness.
Camila Pantoja – Camila is always looking for ways to make others feel welcome and cared for. She notices when someone may need a friend, includes others, and helps make sure her classmates feel valued and appreciated.
Wes Moreno – Wes comes to school with a smile and a kind voice. He is quick to help others, uses good manners, listens respectfully, and sets a wonderful example for his classmates.
Emiliana Quezada – Emiliana shows kindness by helping classmates when they need extra support, including helping a friend get safely to and from the playground. She uses respectful words, shows good manners, and does a great job following classroom and school expectations.
Maiya Fernandez – Maiya is a kind and helpful friend who consistently uses kind words with both teachers and students.
Gianna Garcia – Gianna is always willing to help her classmates. When a friend needs to find the office or nurse, she steps in to help them find their way.
Samantha Jaquez – Samantha looks for ways to help her classmates throughout the day. She assists friends with opening snacks, finding where to turn in their work, and knowing where they belong in line. She is a kind friend who helps others feel confident and cared for.
Adriel Moreno – Adriel is always ready to help a classmate in need. Whether someone needs assistance or simply drops something, he is quick to step in and lend a helping hand.
We are so proud of these Kindergarten students for showing us that practicing kindness can make a big difference in someone else's day. Way to be PAWS Up Bulldogs!
