Rules of Engagement
The purpose of this page is to share important information with our community and create the opportunity for open communication and dialogue about our school and school programs. To this end, by liking, commenting, retweeting, following, sharing, or otherwise engaging with this page, you agree to follow the following Rules of Engagement:

• Engage in open conversation

not personal issues. This page is not meant to replace regular communication channels for sharing individual issues or concerns. Comments regarding a personal issue with the district, a school or staff member will be removed.

• Be respectful. Personal attacks or comments that are deemed offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed.

• Refrain from using our page to promote your business, product or candidate. However, we may occasionally include a post of thanks to our supporters, business partners, or information about school-related fundraisers or school-sponsored event benefiting local charities.

• Stay on topic. Please keep the conversation related to our district. Comments of all kinds are welcome as long as they directly relate to our school.

• Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them directly, please, via email or phone.

• Be aware. Misuse of school resources including this social media platform by students or employees may result in disciplinary action.

• Employees of CVSD may have personal pages. Don’t be surprised or offended if your request to “friend” them is ignored. District policy encourages staff to keep their personal lives personal.

• All activity using the district network and/or district technologies may be monitored and retained. This page is for the community and we want you to feel comfortable sharing your views about the district. Just know, however, that abuse of the above guidelines can lead to removal of a specific posting or the blocking/removal from our page.

Last week, the Central Valley Early Learning Center hosted its Artwalk Gallery Night 2025. Families and students were invited to explore the impressive artwork displayed throughout the building, all created by the imaginative preschoolers from both on-site and off-site classrooms. We are excited to welcome families to the Early Learning Center to browse the amazing artwork created by all our preschoolers.
Light refreshments will be served in your child's classroom. Offsite preschool classes will be in the ELC gym.
There will also be a silent auction and a $1 raffle presented by your Parent Policy Council.
Please see your classroom Dojo story for the digital invitation. Invite your whole family!

There will be two times to attend.

5:30-6:15 PM: Anderson, Klyayn, Malloy, Nesbitt, Ramsey, Murry, Tart, Steinwand, Boren, S.Hansen, McArthur (Liberty Creek), Hultquist (Liberty Creek), Mende (Liberty Creek), K. Lee (Progress), Kappen (Progress).

6:15-7:00 PM: Alderman, Christensen, Major, Fox, Scott, L. Hanson, Tracy, Crandall, Giffing, Blackman, Grose, Ludiker, C. Lee (University), Vanderpool (University), Perez (S. Pines), Hachman (S. Pines).

*If you cannot attend at your scheduled time...don't worry! Your teacher will still be there to welcome you in the clasroom anytime between 5:30 and 7:00 PM.

The WA Clean Energy Credit Grant Program provided by the Washington State Dept of Commerce will provide a one-time $200 utility bill credit to eligible moderate and low-income households.This program will run until September 15th or until funds are exhausted, whichever comes first.
