Rose Lake Association MN The mission of the RLA is to be the “Stewards of Rose Lake.” We provide effective and efficient maintenance services for the benefit of all lake users.

Rose Lake Association is an alliance of people interested in providing effective and efficient lake maintenance services for the benefit of all Rose Lake property owners, users and the surrounding communities. We are devoted to the restoration and continued preservation of the highest water quality and environmental standards achievable, promotion of responsible use of land and water resources and

recreational safety. Our annual contribution for 2014 is $50.00. Our operational funds are necessary to:
• ensure excellent land and water quality
• enhance bountiful fishing
• maintain orderly and proper development
• sustain our natural wildlife haven
• control invasive species and work toward their elimination
• monitor existing and proposed township, county and state laws that affect our lake and the environment

Annual Assessment:
$50.00 per lot
We will keep all of our members updated on where their dollars are being spent.

Hello fellow Rose Lake friends. Our snail mail letter has gone out. Please send me a message if you did NOT receive a letter. Our most timely task is to raise $5,500 for our Fireworks Show on July 4th. Deadline is June 25, 2026. Every year, you have stepped up and we really appreciate it! ALL funds raised go toward the purchase of fireworks. Jimmie Anderson donates all of his time. To donate: Write your check to Rose Lake Association & note “fireworks” in memo. Rose Lake lost another icon. Annetta Haley passed away last December. Annetta never missed an annual meetings or a boat parade, she was a fervent fan of Rose Lake. I think Annetta may even hold the record for most years on the lake, having lived on Rose Lake as a child. Click on the link below to see the details of her funeral. Forever in our hearts. Day 2 of some crazy winds. We have some open water on Rose Lake, but there is still a lot of ice and we are seeing some ice heaving on the East side of the lake. There is not much that can be done, but if you have docks or lifts that can be moved back away from the shoreline, you may want to do that. If anyone would like me to drive to their property to check it out, give me a call. Shannon 701-793-0566. Happy to do that.

Larry Madson passed away on September 6, 2025 from non smokers lung cancer. Larry's family history on Rose Lake goes back to his childhood. He loved the lake and did a lot to improve East Rose Lake, he will be dearly missed by friends and family.

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of another Rose Lake Legend, Bev Hendricks. She and Cecil cherished the memories made at Rose Lake with their friends and family. You could always count on them to attend our annual meeting and visit with all the neighbors. Rest in peace Bev, we're got this.
