The Erhard Mahnke Award was established by the Housing & Homelessness Alliance of Vermont (HHAV) in 2025 to recognize an individual’s life-long work to support affordable housing and homelessness response in Vermont and beyond; steadfast dedication to equity; passion for legislative advocacy; and lasting impact on safe, affordable, and accessible housing policies and programs.

HHAV is now accepting nominations.

A big thank you to the group of student volunteers from the SERVE Program, hosted by Champlain Valley CRC, who planted four beautiful new bushes and cleared away weeds around the building to make our space bloom again! 💚

From your gardens to our jars! 🌱 Thank you to our community donors for donating cucumbers which inspired a canning workshop in our kitchen. Additional cucumbers were purchased from Last Resort Farm with grant funding from Vermonters Feeding Vermonters.
