Let me tell you about my friend Elizabeth. We met her freshmen year of HS when she was so polite and quiet when asking me questions about the Guard. I watched her excel in academics, sports, and chasing her goals. Fast forward 4 years and she made the life changing decision to join the SD Army National Guard. I am so proud of you and beyond excited to serve with you in this uniform.

Last night I had the awesome opportunity to recognize 4 (1 couldn’t make it) YHS students who joined the SD Army National Guard while still in high school. I want to thank their parents for supporting and raising such selfless young men who dedicate their time to the Army Guard. I also want to thank the high school for supporting these students academically and welcoming the SDARNG into the school.

Start Christmas break out by playing some laser tag and get hands on with Military equipment!

1️⃣ To register your team contact me with your team name and a contact number
If your last minute that’s ok! Show up before 1 on the 22nd to get your team on the board to compete in the tournament.

2️⃣ Don’t like laser tag? We have fun for you too! Show up any time from 1-3pm for snacks and an experience to check out some cool systems we use in the SD Army National Guard!

Let’s talk about the career path Caleb took in joining the SD Army National Guard. 🇺🇸 He’s a junior in HS and will drill 1 weekend a month, go to Basic Training this summer, 💪🏼then job training after he graduates HS. 🚁 He has set the bar high with his goals for the future and I know he’s taking the right steps to get there. Congratulations Caleb! 😁
