The Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library wishes to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who submitted entries for this year's Bookmark Design Challenge. We absolutely loved seeing the bright colors, wonderful imagination, and fun interpretations of our themes, "Find Your Joy" and "Unearth A Story," from artists of all ages.

After careful review of the many fantastic submissions, we have successfully unearthed this year's winning designs. These outstanding illustrations have been professionally printed and distributed as our official library bookmarks throughout the summer season.

As we prepare for the launch of our "Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Program this June, we want to express our gratitude to the community for your continued engagement. When you stop by the library next month to pick up one of these new bookmarks!

Thank you once again to all our participants for making this competition a roaring success.

πŸ‡ Hop on over to see our newest addition!

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome a beautiful new sculpture to the Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library: Bunny for Nothing by the talented artist Craig Snyder.

From the White Rabbit in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland to The Tale of Peter Rabbit and The Velveteen Rabbit, bunnies have always held a very special place in the literary world. We couldn't ask for a more fitting piece of art to grace our grounds.

A heartfelt thank you to the Vermillion Cultural Association for organizing and installing this wonderful artwork. We are so grateful for everything you do to bring public art to our community.

Next time you stop by to check out a book, be sure to take a moment to admire our new (not furry but well, sculpted!) friend.

That was a fun prehistoric morning at Prentis Park! We are absolutely thrilled by the turnout for today’s Dino Dash. Whether you ran, walked, or just came to stomp around with us, you made our day.

A big shout out to everyone who showed up in their best dino gear. We hope everyone who arrived early enjoyed their goody bags!

Did you take any photos today? Please tag us or drop them in the comments, we’d love to see your best race-day poses! πŸ“Έ

✨ But Wait! The Fun Continues. . . ✨
