Our Vision: To Coordinate Collaborative Efforts That Fund Shared Priorities of the Educational Experience. The Vermillion Public Schools Foundation (VPSF) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation. The primary purpose of this corporation is to benefit the education of Vermillion, SD students K-12. VPSF is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. VPSF goals include securing private f

unding for innovative projects which cannot be funded by local, state, or federal dollars. Securing private funding to enrich existing curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular programs. Coordinating efforts of the Community to bring about positive change in the school system. Work with the Vermillion School District to make Vermillion Public Schools the best school district in South Dakota. Provide continuing educational opportunities for students, teachers, and administrators.

We love to see the amazing support our community provides for the students in the Vermillion School District. Thank you, Vermillion Rotary Club for joining the VPSF in supporting this life-changing trip for Vermillion students.

Vermillion High School Instructors Kami Dibley and Lenni Billberg accept the ceremonial "big check" from Vermillion Rotary to help with the funding for this Summer's German American Partnership Program (GAPP) trip to Germany. The funds will help with the escalating costs of travel for the 22 Vermillion School District students who will have this wonderful opportunity. Don't worry, they were also given a normal sized check. :-)

Thank you for KTIV News 4 for this wonderful story about Vermillion Middle School students ("Natural Helpers") who collected stuffed animals to support other kids in the community. The stuffed animals will be given to first responders in the region to have when interacting with children while on calls.

A group of middle schoolers in Vermillion is helping support their peers while working to support young kids in the community with community service projects.
