✨📚April librarian book recommendation of the month! At the end of each month, one of the books from our collection that our librarian Abby read and loved will be featured! There will be a little blurb about the book and some thoughts from Abby! We will do our best to span multiple genres😊📚

This month I am recommending: The League of Gentlewomen Witches by India Holton

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the teahouse...

The League of Gentlewomen Witches strives to improve the world in small ways. Using magic, they tidy, correct, and manipulate according to their notions of what is proper, entirely unlike those reprobates in the Wisteria Society.

When the long lost amulet of Black Beryl is discovered, it is up to Charlotte, as the future leader of the League, to make sure the powerful talisman does not fall into the wrong hands. Therefore, it is most unfortunate when she crosses paths with Alex O’Riley, a pirate who is no Mr. Darcy. With all the world scrambling after the amulet, Alex and Charlotte join forces to steal it together. If only they could keep their pickpocketing hands to themselves! If Alex’s not careful, he might just steal something else—such as Charlotte’s heart.

✨Two words: battle library. This book is just so much fun. I was screaming internally the entire time I read this. This is the second book of this series, I recommended the first one for the first librarian review I did! If you are a fan of regency with plenty of hijinks to go with it, definitely pick this one up!✨

✨Potentially controversial opinion, this one is my favorite out of the series! A close second to Eloise’s book. I haven’t watched the newest season on Netflix yet and I definitely need to! One of the best takes on the Cinderella story I’ve read💙🎃✨
