FULL MOON PADDLE @ RED FLEET STATE PARK: Tuesday, July 28
Call 435-789-4432 to register by Sunday midnight.
Meet at boat ramp ready to launch at 8:00 pm.
If renting a park kayak, arrive at 7:30 pm.
Lifejackets & headlamps must be worn the entire time on the water; park has loaners for both.
Fee: $15/vehicle day- use fee or annual pass.

Crescent Moon-Venus Viewing at Red Fleet, Friday 9 pm

Taking your 2nd paved left turn after entering Red Fleet will lead you to a naked-eye and telescope viewing of a crescent moon and planet Venus in close proximity. Bring your celestial knowledge for a discussion about the facts as well as the unknowns of both objects.

Full Moon Paddle Fest - Cancelled

Hello! I just wanted to let everyone know that the Full Moon Paddle Fest planned for tonight at Red Fleet is sadly cancelled due to weather conditions! But please join us for a Full Moon Rise Watch tomorrow at 8:45pm at Red Fleet’s Day Use area (2nd left once you’re officially in the park)! Again I’m so sorry about tonight, but we hope to see you tomorrow! It’ll be super pretty!
