Decades Spirit Day was a blast from the past!
We saw tie dyed groovy 60s, disco 70s, neon 80s, flannel loving 90s, and even one dedicated caveman representing BC, Northeast School traveled through time today for our daytime NES Time Capsule Assembly!

Students and staff enjoyed an engaging presentation by town historian, Mrs. Jean Luddy, who shared fascinating stories and history about Northeast School, complete with some truly ancient artifacts from the 1970s. 😄

Adding to the excitement, news crews from FOX 61 were on hand this morning capturing highlights of our special. Stay tuned for the news coverage! 🎥✨

Students and staff celebrated Super Hero Spirit Day by dressing as their favorite heroes. Some wore capes and masks, while others chose the everyday heroes who inspire them most teachers, parents, first responders, athletes, and friends! 🦁

Our 5th graders enjoyed their annual class outing to High Meadow Resort. Students spent the day enjoying the all-you-can-eat buffet, soft drinks, ice cream, swimming in the pool, and friendly competition in party games and Gaga Ball. More importantly, they shared laughter, friendship, and time together as a class one last time. We wish our 5th graders the very best as they take their next steps toward middle school! 🦁

🎒Today’s Spirit Day was Anything But a Backpack, and our students did not disappoint! The creativity was incredible. We saw school supplies carried in boxes, doll strollers, fishing nets, laundry baskets, and even a dresser drawer! The laughs, smiles, and imaginative ideas made for a memorable day. 🎒 🦁
