Our young library patrons had a blast at our special robotics program! A huge thanks to the amazing Boys and Girls Club of Vernon Robotics Club for bringing their incredible robot, sharing their knowledge, and inspiring future engineers. The kids loved the hands-on building and watching the robot move! Not only did it move, it threw balls out for catching! Thank you Molly Beth and Norah Schiwart, Ian, Maya, Stella, and Meg Heatly for coming to the Carnegie! We really enjoyed the book read by Norah, and all the activities! Thanks for making learning fun!

Little Playhouse on the Prairie was at the Carnegie Library on Thursday, July 23rd. A big thanks to Teresa Martinez, Taylor Edmonds, and Dustin Swatzell for bringing us such a special puppet show!! Crusty Dusty (Dustin) and Red (Teresa) were a joy to watch! Taylor read a story while Crusty Dusty and Red interrupted with questions and their personal, funny, thoughts on the subject matter. Lots of laughs and smiles were shared. We can’t forget about the help behind the scenes Ace Martinez, sound man. We have such a great community and it is really inspiring when groups such as this community theater take the time to bring our patrons an idea of what they do. Thank you for coming to the Carnegie, Little Playhouse on the Prairie! I can’t wait to see what you have planned in the future!
