PLANT OF THE DAY: Creeping Juniper "Wilton"
The best way to conserve soil is to cover it with plants. That's what Wilton does best! It forms a dense groundcover that creates a safe habitat and food source for birds and other critters. This nativar was found on an island off the coast of Maine in 1914. Wilton is very low maintenance and tolerates a multitude of conditions. It will also prevent weeds! Get it at our plant sale: https://conservect.org/northcentral/product/creeping-juniper-wilton-1-gallon/

These lovely purple-pink tutus are pretty enough to eat (you can!). Our native bees love the Nodding Onion's nectar, especially cellophane bees and sweat bees. The interesting weeping habit makes this plant a unique, beautiful, and beneficial choice for any sunny garden.
