Please stop by the high school office and pick up your Senior Packet which includes your diploma, transcript, and graduation pictures (if you ordered them.) These packets WILL NOT be mailed to you.

CONGRATULATIONS -- to five Vernon Lions tennis players who made the Texas High School Coaches Association 2025-26 Super Elite Tennis Team!! Those five were: seniors Hunter Boatman, Jonathan Medina and Nevan Schur, and juniors Lily Beam and Will Castleberry. All five qualified for the UIL Class 3A Singles & Doubles State Tournament in the spring, with Lily and Will grabbing gold in Mixed Doubles, Jonathan and Nevan taking silver in Boys Doubles, and Hunter Boatman earning a bronze in Boys Singles.

Just a quick reminder!
Vernon ISD will be conducting a safety training drill this morning at one of our campuses. This will be an active shooter safety training drill that will involve local law enforcement, the fire department and EMS. If you live around one of our campuses, please note this morning you may hear sirens and possibly gunfire. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but this type of drill is essential as we work to maintain a safe and prepared school environment.

Vernon ISD online student registration/enrollment for the 2026-27 school year is currently underway. Parents, when you go online to register/enroll your child, you will need to login into your Skyward account -- which will have Family Access at the top left (highlighted in yellow). If you login into your child's account you will see Student Access at the top left corner and will not be able to register them. Go to www.vernonisd.org and click on the Registration/Enrollment button to get your child signed up for the upcoming school year.
