Last night's LUB meeting the board approved a new cell tower.

This project will generate revenue for the Board of Education while also improving emergency service communications and expanding reliable cell service to areas that have long needed better coverage, including Maple Grange Park.

This morning at approximately 8:15 a.m., I received the resignation of Peter Knipe. Although I had already taken action to remove Mr. Knipe from his position, I have formally accepted his resignation.

As with anyone facing allegations, Mr. Knipe is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. I ask everyone to respect the legal process and allow it to proceed without speculation, rumors, or personal attacks.

Please also remember that these allegations affect many people, including family members, friends, colleagues, and, if the allegations are ultimately proven, a victim. I ask that everyone show compassion and respect for all those impacted as this matter moves through the legal process.
