Good evening everyone,

I want to start by thanking all the business owners, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and residents who participated in what I believe was an incredibly successful first-ever business forum. The turnout, the energy in the room, and the productive conversations truly demonstrated how committed our community is to the future growth and success of our town.

Tonight was about strengthening our local economy, supporting small businesses, encouraging investment, and creating opportunities for future generations. It was inspiring to see many people come together.

We know there are challenges facing businesses today , rising costs, workforce issues, and economic uncertainty, but forums like this remind us that there are also tremendous opportunities ahead. By continuing to work together, support one another, and think creatively, we can continue building a business-friendly environment that benefits everyone in our community.

Thank you again to Economic Development Advisory Committee, Mindy Martin, every speaker, every sponsor, and everyone who attended tonight’s forum. Your participation matters, your voice matters, and your commitment to our community does not go unnoticed.

I also want to sincerely thank Mountain Creek Resort and their entire team for hosting this event. As always, you went above and beyond, and we truly appreciate your continued partnership and support of our community.

Thank you all again, and I look forward to continuing this momentum TOGETHER!!

Teacher Appreciation Week gives us the opportunity to recognize the incredible educators who dedicate their lives to shaping the future of our children and our community.
