Our Family Learning and Evening ESL classes celebrated their last days of the semester and school year. These students and staff members have worked incredibly hard all year and deserve a well-earned summer break! We look forward to seeing everyone again next school year! 😊

🇺🇸✈️ Today, we pause to honor and celebrate a true American hero, Data Entry Assistant Lisa Riendeau, our incredible Air Force veteran. 🇺🇸✈️

Lisa was honored by the Town of East Hartford and East Hartford Heating & Cooling with a plaque and banner for her 13 years of service. 🎖️

The VRABE office had its own celebration for Lisa, thanking her for her service to our country. She is a rockstar, and we are so grateful to have her on our team.

The sacrifices made, the miles flown, and the courage shown in service to our nation do not go unnoticed. Every uniform worn, every mission completed, and every moment spent away from family was an act of dedication that words can barely capture.

Thank you for your service, your bravery, and your unwavering commitment to protecting our freedom. We are forever grateful.

Congratulations to our newest Certified Nursing Assistant graduates! 🎓🩺

Yesterday, we celebrated the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our VRABE CNA students as they completed their program and took the next step toward rewarding careers in healthcare.

Throughout this journey, these students balanced busy lives while committing themselves to learning the skills needed to care for others with compassion and professionalism. We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and excited to see the positive impact they will make in our community.

A huge thank you to our instructors, staff, families, and supporters who helped guide and encourage our students along the way.

🎉 What an amazing turnout at our First Annual Career Fair! 🎉

Last night, VRABE held its first Career Fair at Rockville High School. This fair was exclusively for VRABE students. Students from every program we offer were able to participate and find jobs and career information related to either their programs or their future goals.

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended, participated, and helped make this event such a success. It was incredible to connect with so many talented individuals, local professionals, and community members throughout the evening.

Our team, Assistant Regional Director Cortney Gerlach, Workforce Coordinator Nicol Gattuso, Marketing & IT Coordinator Michael Tyndall, and College Transition Coordinator Michael DeBellis, made this possible for our students and the communities we serve.

From networking opportunities to meaningful conversations about future careers and growth, this event exceeded our expectations. We are grateful for the enthusiasm, support, and positive energy everyone brought to our very first career fair.

This week, our beginner ESL students learned how to create and present PowerPoint presentations in English. Topics varied from cooking, animals, traveling, and their own personal hobbies. This lesson helped our students gain confidence in speaking English to a crowd.
