Dear Vernon Township Precinct 2 Voter,

This message is for voters qualified to vote in the May 5, 2026, election for Corunna Schools. We need to inform you of a temporary change to the voting location for the May 5, 2026, election.

Due to structural storm damage sustained at the building located at 6801 S. Durand Rd, the facility has been deemed unsafe for public use at this time. As a result, voting for the May 5, 2026, election only will take place at the Vernon Township Fire Station, located at the corner of Main Street and Maple Street.

This relocation is temporary. It is anticipated that all future elections for both precinct 1 and precinct 2 will return to the 6801 S. Durand Rd location once repairs are completed and the building is cleared for occupancy.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure a safe and accessible voting process for all residents.

The Village of Vernon DDA is looking for a motivated volunteer to chair and help organize the Village of Vernon car show! This role will help coordinate planning, recruit volunteers, and ensure the event runs smoothly on show day.

Responsibilities may include:
• Helping plan event details and timeline
• Coordinating with vendors, sponsors, and participants
• Organizing volunteers
• Assisting with day-of event setup and activities
