Announcement! We are pleased to share that Mrs. Erin Rich will be joining our TEAM as a permanent substitute! Her first assignment? Beginning next Monday, she will work in our VPK classroom to serve as the primary aide for at least the next two months.

Mrs. Traci Wildt, who is currently covering Mrs. Brissett in Grade 2, will transition into VPK once she returns, and Mrs. Rich will then sub regularly across the school.

We are very fortunate to have these wonderful ladies at NCCS and we surely appreciate their help and support in making the program work well for our students!

Hello, all! I am very excited to announce that Mrs. Shelby Rowe has accepted an offer to work with us at NCCS! She will continue to provide the outstanding service that we have become so accustomed to, due to Nurse Becky’s incredible work!

Shelby and her husband, Alex have been sending their wonderful girls (Everly-Grade 2 and Reagan-Kindergarten) here, and their entire family is excited to have this opportunity.

Shelby has extensive training and a wealth of experience. She has a master's degree in PA Studies and a bachelor's in health sciences. She has taught at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and most recently has been working for Vero Orthopedics. She also spends time working at Pro Sports nearby evenings and weekends, where she shares her cheering experience and knowledge with many children.

Please join me in welcoming Shelby to our TEAM! We are very fortunate to have her. She will be working a notice through September 25th and will join us fully on the 28th. Between now and then she will be with us on Tuesdays beginning next week.

School Nurse Opening at NCCS

Good afternoon, everyone. Sadly for us, Nurse Becky will be departing after September 4th to accept a new position as a Nurse Practitioner. She has been an amazing presence at our school, and she will be greatly missed! I am so thankful for the time she has been able to give to us, and for the outstanding services provided to our students and families. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Becky! We all wish you the very best!

A few details about the position:

1. It will be 6 hours per school day (9AM to 3PM) and the nurse will work every day that students are present
2. It will be benefits-eligible
3. Salary will be negotiated with the candidate selected
4. Qualifications preferred, but not required: Nursing degree and school-based experience or experience in pediatrics
