We made it! Today is the last day of school and summer has officially begun! ☀️📚🎉

We hope all of our students, teachers, and families enjoy a fun, relaxing, and well-deserved summer break!

Before you pack away those school uniforms and school clothes, consider donating them to our Back-to-School Clothing Swap! 👕👖 Your donation can help another family prepare for the new school year and trust us; you’ll thank yourself in August when you already have a head start!

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Peggy Jones, School Board Vice Chair, for our first donation to our Back-to-School Clothing Swap!

If you or someone you know has difficulty hearing over the phone, join us to learn about a no-cost telephone service that can help! The CapTel Captioned Telephone allows people with hearing loss to listen to their caller and read everything the caller says. Like captions on TV-for your phone!

A huge thank you to Redina and Danielle from the Center for Memory and Movement, Alzheimer & Parkinson Association IRC for bringing the Dementia Live experience to the staff at the Brackett Library.
This powerful and eye-opening experience gave our staff a deeper understanding of the daily challenges individuals living with dementia may face. Through this hands-on simulation, we gained valuable insight, empathy, and awareness that will help us continue to better serve and support members of our community and their caregivers.
We truly appreciate the time, compassion, and knowledge Redina and Danielle shared with us. Thank you for helping us grow in understanding and reminding us of the importance of patience, kindness, and connection. 💜

What a Beautiful Celebration of Mothers, Love & Community 🌸

The Brackett Library’s Mother’s Day Celebration was truly a heartwarming and elegant experience filled with laughter, fellowship, and unforgettable memories. From the beautiful décor to the thoughtful details throughout the event, every element created an atmosphere of appreciation, and celebration for the amazing mothers and women in our community.

A very special THANK YOU and heartfelt accolades to Holly McDougall and the incredible Brackett Library team for their creativity, dedication, and excellence in bringing this beautiful event to life. Your hard work, warm hospitality, and eye for detail made the afternoon absolutely spectacular and deeply appreciated by all who attended.
