🌞🥣 Starting the Day Strong at Fellsmere Academy! 🥣🌞

Students participating in summer programs at Fellsmere Academy, including Literacy on the Lagoon, Moonshot, Step Into K, and more, are fueling their mornings with a nutritious breakfast before a day of learning, exploration, and fun!

A healthy breakfast helps students stay energized, focused, and ready to make the most of their summer experiences.

Don't forget that families in our community are welcome to visit Fellsmere Academy for a free hot breakfast from 8:30–9:00 a.m. and lunch from 12:30–1:00 p.m. Meals are available at no cost for all children and teens 18 years old and younger.

We're proud to support our summer learners and help keep students fueled all season long! 🍎💙

☀️🍎 Day 1 of Summer Meals was a Success! 🍎☀️

Today we were excited to serve families at Pathway Church, one of our four Wednesday summer meal kit distribution locations!

Thank you to all the families who stopped by to pick up meals and help us kick off another great summer of serving children throughout our community.

A special thank you to the amazing volunteers at Pathway Church for assisting with our carline service and helping today's distribution run smoothly. We truly appreciate your partnership and support.

We look forward to seeing families at our Wednesday meal kit locations throughout the summer!

☀️❤️ Yesterday, We Celebrated Our Incredible Kitchen Managers! ❤️☀️

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to celebrate our amazing Kitchen Managers and thank them for another outstanding school year of serving nutritious meals, welcoming students with smiles, and keeping our cafeterias running smoothly.

As a small token of our appreciation, we treated them to a special lunch and sent them off with some summer swag to enjoy during their well-deserved break.

While many of our managers are beginning their summer vacation, several will continue serving students through our Free Summer Meal Program, helping ensure children throughout our community have access to healthy meals while school is out.

Thank you to our Kitchen Managers for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to supporting student success. Your efforts make a difference every single day, and we are grateful for all that you do.

Wishing all of our Kitchen Managers a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer! ☀️🍉🌴

📦☀️ Wednesday Summer Meal Kit Distribution Starts Today! ☀️📦

Our Wednesday meal kit program provides families with a convenient way to access meals throughout the summer.

Each weekly meal kit includes 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches featuring a variety of nutritious, kid-friendly items.

🚨 Important Reminders:
✅ Children must be present at their first pickup so we can verify eligibility and issue a stamp card for each child.
✅ Families will receive one stamp card per child.
✅ After the first pickup, a parent or guardian may pick up meal kits without the child being present as long as they bring the child's stamp card.
✅ Check the flyer for distribution locations, dates, and pickup times.

❗ Families must choose one summer meal option. Children receiving Wednesday meal kits may not also participate in the daily breakfast and lunch program at a school meal site during the same week.

Beginning June 3, families can pick up FREE weekly meal kits for children and teens 18 years old and younger at the Wednesday meal distribution locations listed on the flyer.

Each meal kit contains enough food for 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches, helping keep children fueled throughout the week all summer long.

✅ Important Reminders:
• Meal kits are available every Wednesday at the locations and times listed on the flyer.
• Families who receive a Wednesday meal kit may not also receive meals from our daily school meal sites.
• A Stamp Card is required for each child when picking up meal kits each Wednesday.
• Stamp cards will be distributed at your first pickup and must be brought with you each week to receive additional meal kits.
