The Royal Palm Pointe Fountain is Back!

The grate at Royal Palm Pointe has been repaired, and we’re excited to announce that the fountains will be running again this weekend!

💦 Fountain Hours:
📅 Saturdays & Sundays
⏰ 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The fountains will operate the above hours during the Indian River County School District school year.

Come enjoy a refreshing weekend at Royal Palm Pointe!

The fountains at Royal Palm Pointe will be closed Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd due to a broken grate. We will notify the public when the grate has been repaired and the fountains will be running again!

🎃👻 THE 66TH ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARADE & COSTUME CONTEST IS COMING! 👻🎃

Get ready for a spooktacular morning of costumes, decorated cars and floats, prizes, and Halloween fun! The City of Vero Beach Recreation Department invites families and community members to join us for the 66th Annual Halloween Parade & Costume Contest on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

🚗🎃 Decorate your car or float and show off your Halloween spirit! Prizes will be awarded for the Best Decorated Cars & Floats, along with prizes for the Best Costumes!

📅 Saturday, October 31, 2026
📍 Line-Up: 9:30 a.m. at the Women’s Club parking lot, 1534 21st Street
🎉 Parade Begins: 10:00 a.m.

The parade will travel east on 21st Street, then turn left onto 14th Avenue and continue to the Vero Beach Community Center, where the Costume Contest will take place.

🍬 Free goody bags will be available for children ages 0–17!

There is NO ENTRY FEE to participate. Parade applications for cars, floats, and walking groups are available at www.covb.org. Please note: No political organizations.

BIG things are happening at Piece of Pie Park!

Piece of Pie Park is getting ready for a brand-new playground, and we couldn’t be more excited! Keep an eye out over the next few weeks as old equipment removal continues, new equipment begins to arrive and installation gets underway. We can’t wait to see the transformation—and we know the neighborhood is going to LOVE it!

And that’s not all! Humiston Beach Park and Jaycee Beach Park playgrounds have received fresh mulch, giving our little playground visitors a cleaner, safer, and more refreshed place to play.

So many exciting improvements happening in our parks! We can’t wait to see everyone enjoying them!
