Country View Elementary

Country View Elementary Country View builds a community of learners respected for who they are, challenged to reach their potential and encouraged to discover the joy of learning.

The mission of Country View is to build a community of learners who are respected for who
they are, challenged to reach their potential and encouraged to discover the joy of learning. Our purpose is to help your child become a lifelong learner through addressing their unique social, emotional and academic needs within a diverse community of learners. Our staff places a high priority on getting to

know every learner. We want our children to look forward to coming to school every day, and we do this by providing a high-quality, learner-centered environment in which children have voice and choice in their learning. Country View has set low class sizes as a priority to help staff build relationships with every learner/family. Our class sizes typically range from 15-18 in Grades K-3 and 22-25 in Grades 4-5. The Verona Area School District (VASD) is working with all district schools to ensure that:
•Every student has a personalized learning plan that provides a path to discovery and achievement and that plan is reviewed and changed at least annually based on the student’s needs
•Every student’s parent, guardian or advocate participates directly in the design, implementation, and outcomes of that student’s personalized learning plans
•Every student meets or exceeds the goals of his or her personalized learning plan every school year
•Every Verona Area High School student graduates
•Every graduate achieves their choice of college and career path

Looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of students? 📚✨

Reading Corps is currently looking for tutors for the upcoming school year at Country View! Tutors work one-on-one or in small groups with students to help build confidence and strengthen reading skills. No teaching degree is required — just a passion for helping kids succeed.

This is a wonderful opportunity to support our students and community while gaining valuable experience and benefits along the way.

We would love to see 1–2 tutors join our school for the fall! If you or someone you know may be interested, check out the information below or visit Join.ReadingandMath.org to learn more.
