🐾 Happy National Dog Day, Verona! 🐾

Around here, dogs aren't just pets—they're part of the community. Whether they're making new friends at the dog park, joining the fun at Main Street Trick or Treat, relaxing on a patio at Lake Louie Brewing, or keeping us safe alongside the Verona Police Department's K9 team, they make our city a little happier every day.

Today we're celebrating all the four-legged friends who brighten our neighborhoods, businesses, parks, and events. ❤️

Networking. It’s really not that serious.
But knowing people? That matters.

You don’t need an elevator pitch. You don’t need to work the room. You don’t even need to know anyone when you walk in.

Grab some lunch. Find a seat. Meet a few people. Talk about what you do, what’s happening around town, your dog… whatever.

That’s it. Congratulations. You networked. 🎉

Because networking isn’t really about collecting business cards. It’s about getting to know the people in your community — and letting them get to know you.

So the next time someone says, “Hey, do you know someone who…?” maybe your name comes up.

🎶 One Last Summer Concert... Let's Make It Count! 🎶

Can you believe it's already the final Concerts in the Park of the season?

Join us Thursday, August 27, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Century School Park as we wrap up another incredible summer with Elizabeth Mary!

If her name sounds familiar, it's because she was originally scheduled to kick off our season back in June before Mother Nature had other plans. We're so glad we were able to reschedule her performance and give our season the perfect finale.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, friends—and maybe a few extra dance moves—for one last evening of live music under the summer sky.

🌮 Enjoy dinner from one of our food vendors or visit a nearby local restaurant before or after the show.

Right now, Halloween is out in front, with The Lost Boys and The Rocky Horror Picture Show tied for second. Get Out is lurking in fourth, with Death Becomes Her rounding out the top five.

But don’t count out Little Shop of Horrors or Young Frankenstein just yet — there’s still time to shake things up! 🗳️

🎶 Concerts in the Park returns this Thursday with the Yard Dogs! 🎶

Grab your lawn chairs, round up your friends, and head to Century School Park this Thursday, August 20, from 6:00–8:00 PM for another great evening of free live music!

This week's featured band, Yard Dogs, brings a high-energy mix of classic rock, blues, country, and crowd favorites that are perfect for a summer evening. Whether you're singing along, dancing in the grass, or just kicking back with neighbors, it's the kind of night that reminds us why Wisconsin summers are hard to beat.

Nearly 200 of you have already weighed in on our Fall Fest family movie (!!!), so clearly Verona has opinions about what belongs on the big screen.

But once the family movie wraps up and the little pumpkins head home... Fall Fest After Dark begins. 🎃🎬

We’re bringing back our Late Night Movie, and once again, YOU get to pick what we watch.
