BPNN is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting poverty and ending hunger in the communities we serve. We envision a strong, healthy community where access to nutritional food is readily available and where hunger, at its worst, is a temporary state and not a way of life. David Rustick dedicated his life to serving others through a long and meaningful career in social work. When he passed away, he continued that legacy of service by leaving a gift to Badger Prairie Needs Network—helping ensure that even more people in our community have access to the food and support they need.

Today, David’s sister, Susan, delivered his generous gift to BPNN. We are deeply grateful for his thoughtful legacy and for Susan’s kindness in helping carry it forward.

🌟Meet Pam, one of the MVPs of our BPNN Event Team! 🌟

Pam is our donor and silent auction outreach rock star. She helps coordinate our silent auctions from beginning to end—from making calls to local businesses to request donations, to assembling baskets, writing descriptions, and uploading everything to our auction site. It’s a big job, and Pam makes it happen!

Pam and her husband own and are longtime BPNN supporters. They've came up with a pretty creative way to support the pantry in the past including giving students a discount on their senior portraits if they donate two bags of groceries to BPNN.

Thank you, Pam, for taking on this important role and for all the time, creativity, and persistence you bring to it. Your work helps raise thousands of dollars to support BPNN’s mission to end hunger and fight poverty in Dane County. We’re so grateful for you! 💙

Throughout September, we’re joining communities across the country in raising awareness about food insecurity and, most importantly, taking ACTION to make a difference.

Here in Dane County, more than 60,000 people face food insecurity—and every day, people are taking action to change that.

Whether you donate, volunteer, advocate, share our message, support a local food drive, or simply learn more about hunger in our community, your actions matter.

Our lobby is open to anyone for shopping. You can shop the lobby vestibule without registering and as often as you want. Come to the exit door of the pantry. Selections vary from day to day but can include "Grab and Go" meals in the freezer, dairy, bread & rolls, and shelf-stable items.

Lobby shopping hours are the same as pantry hours:
Tuesday: 10a-Noon
Wednesday: 6-8p
Thursday: 10a-6:30p
Friday: 10a-Noon
Saturday: 10a-12:30p
