Augusta County Education Association A local community of VEA. The purpose of ACEA shall be to:

1. Speak for education.
2. Advance the cause of education for all individuals.

Promote professional excellence among members.
4. Gain recognition of the basic importance of the member in the learning process.
5. Protect the rights of members and advance their interests and welfare.
6.Secure professional autonomy.
7. Unite members for effective citizenship.
8. Promote and protect human and civil rights.
9. Obtain for its members the benefits of an independent united teaching profession.
