At 3:17AM Tuesday morning, Penn Hills Stations 224 and 221 were placed on standby to handle calls in the township while the other departments were at a structure fire in the Rosedale 222 District.

Incident 488: Shortly before 2:20am Stations 222, 223, 225, 227, 233, 196 were alerted for a house on fire in the 6300-blk of Woodlawn Rd. AC911 started receiving multiple calls for a house on fire. PHPD arrived on scene and confirmed a well involved structure fire. 222CHF arrived on scene and confirmed a fully involved structure fire. Neighbors reporting the house was being renovated. 222EN & 225TK arrived on scene and crews deployed multiple lines from 222EN. 227EN arrived and secured a water supply to 222EN. Crews operated on scene for about 3 hrs. PHFM is investigating the cause of the fire.
