Jack Jouett House Historic Site The beautiful historic home of Captain Jack Jouett, who rode 40 miles in the dead of night to save America. Hours: Open April to the end of October.

Tours Thursday through Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm. Tours also available Monday-Wednesday by appointment. Visit the home of the "Paul Revere of the South"

This rural homestead includes a 1780's frontier stone cabin, used as a kitchen by the Jouetts. The 1797 Federal-style brick cottage features a formal parlor, dining room and three bedrooms. Period furnishings complement the rooms.
