Be aware and beware!

There is an individual with a local number posing to be Ameren and telling citizens that if they don’t pay a certain amount they will be shut off. A bar code is provided to the citizen. They are also saying to pay at Walmart or City Hall. Ameren will never call you and say to go to city hall or Walmart to pay a bill.

Call Ameren if this occurs and do not take the callers word!

City of Versailles will be paving the following streets June 22-26.

Oak St. from Clay St. to Newton St.
Maple St. from Clay to Newton
Green St. from Oak to Burke
Burke St. from Clay to Newton
