Clifford R. Goldsworthy Outstanding Citizen Award Nominations Now Open!

Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to make Vesper a better place to live? Now is your chance to recognize them!

The Clifford R. Goldsworthy Outstanding Citizen Award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the Village of Vesper through exceptional service, dedication, and citizenship.

Nominees must be 18 years or older and be a current Village of Vesper resident or have a strong connection to the community. Contributions may include volunteer work, community leadership, acts of kindness, or other efforts that have helped enhance the quality of life in Vesper.

The Tuesday, August 11, 2026 Village Board Meeting Agenda has been posted. Please note that the meeting location has moved to the community center due to the municipal building serving as the Village of Vesper and Town of Hansen polling place.

Please be aware: Our storm siren is currently being upgraded and may sound periodically throughout the rest of the evening as technicians complete the work.

These should only be brief test soundings, not the full warning used during severe weather.

The Storm Sirens throughout the County are receiving an upgrade through the week. You may hear intermittent siren soundings over the course of the next 3-4 days. These should mainly be short groans, not the full 3 minute sounding you hear in instances of Warnings.

The current weather forecast does not call for any Severe Weather, but remain vigilant. Always have multiple means of being informed of impending severe weather, do not rely only on sirens or phones.

The gazebo at the Vesper Public Dog Park is complete!

This project has been years in the making, and we're excited to finally share the finished result with the community.

A special thank you goes to Clayton and Tyler Mancl for the countless hours they dedicated to building the gazebo. Their hard work, skill, and generosity have provided a wonderful place for people and their dogs to get out of the sun, relax, and enjoy the park.

Additional finishing touches will be completed in the future, and we'll be recognizing all of the amazing sponsors who contributed along the way.

Thank you for helping us continue to improve the Vesper Dog Park! 🐾

🚧 Please excuse our mess while we make improvements!

We are hard at work making some exciting upgrades to the Vesper Dog Park! Construction is underway on our new gazebo, which will provide a shaded place for dog owners to relax while their four legged friends play.

We appreciate your patience as we work to make the park even better for everyone. Stay tuned for more updates, we can't wait to share the finished result!

Village of Vesper Part-Time Clerk

The Village of Vesper is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail- oriented individual to serve as Vilage Clerk, This part-time position performs administrative and statutory duties that support the daily operations of village government, including records management, meeting support, licensing, elections, and public service, prepare meeting agendas, notices, packets, and minutes for Village Board and committee meetings, maintain official village records, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other public documents, prepare payroll. assist with budgeting, assist with compliance related to open meetings, public records, posting, and publication requirements administer municipal elections, including voter registration, election notices, absentee voting, poll worker coordination, and election records, issue and maintain records for licenses and permits as required by village ordinance and state law.

Job Requirements: Must be a Village of Vesper resident. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or municipal experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication. and customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Willingness to learn utility software Ability to learn and apply Wisconsin election, records, licensing, and municipal procedures. Availability to attend evening meetings and work additional hours during election periods as needed.

What an incredible day celebrating Vesper!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to celebrate our community and to the Village of Vesper Recreation Group for organizing and hosting the festivities. Whether you participated in the parade, volunteered, sponsored the events, or lined the streets, you helped make the day a tremendous success.

We'd love to see the celebration through your eyes! If you took any photos or videos of the parade or the Life Link III flyover, please share them in the comments below. We know there were some amazing moments, and we'd love to create a collection for everyone to enjoy.
