All online payments can be made through the website and I strongly encourage residents to sign up for e-billing. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Vesta will hold a public hearing on May 12th at 6:00PM at 320 E Centre St. This will be an informational hearing to discuss the proposed drinking, waste, and storm water infrastructure improvement projects, including economic and environmental impacts, service area, alternatives to the project, and potential funding sources, such as Minnesota Public Facility Authority. All resident and property owners within the City of Vesta are encouraged to attend.

🕝 Line-Up Starts: 2:30 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church
🎉 Parade Begins: 3:30 PM
📍 Vesta, Minnesota

Join us for an afternoon of lights, sirens, and small-town pride!
To follow the parade there will be food trucks in the park, fireworks, and urbandale lane. Follow Vesta Fire and Rescue FB Page for further information.

Road Closure Notice
CSAH 10 will be closed 4/22/2026 until further notice for bridge construction. The closure is on CSAH 10 from 160th St to 170th St; please follow the detour or use an alternate route.

Happy Severe Weather Awareness! 🌪🌧🌩 In light of this week, we would like to advise the public of a statewide tornado drill happening at 1:45PM and 6:45PM on Thursday, April 16th, 2026. Tornado sirens will be sounded at both times and a Regroup test alert will be locally launched by the Sheriff's Office to all Redwood County users in correspondence with the statewide testing at the 1:45PM time slot.

❌️ NEW IMPORTANT INFORMATION️: The Sheriff's Office is no longer using Code Red as our mass notification platform. We have switched from Code Red to Regroup. If you were previously signed up with Code Red, you will NOT need to resign up with Regroup. All existing user data has successfully migrated over with the transition. The mission with Regroup remains the same to issue critical alerts tailored to the Redwood County area.

🔑 KEY TAKE AWAY: Please note Severe Weather Awareness Week is an opportune time to make sure you and loved ones are signed up with Regroup and have the Regroup mobile app downloaded on your phones to ensure timely alerts! New users or residents can sign up through the link provided below. There will be a further post about the Regroup Mobile app.

🪇 FOLLOW-UP: If you believe you are supposed to receive an alert but do not see anything come through on your end this Thursday, please reach out to our agency after the designated 1:45PM launch time. The goal is to make all our users feel comfortable and familiar with Regroup in order to enhance public safety when an incident does arise. Your safety is our priority!
