🤩 The Four County Library System bookmobile participated in Truck Day at The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier on Saturday, and we were parked between a local school bus and the mobile van from our friends at SUNY Broome Community College. It was great to be near our colleagues who also support lifelong learning! 📚

🥳 We’ve got very exciting news! The Four County Library System has partnered up with the Finger Lakes Library System, OWWL Library System, and the Southern Tier Library System to share OverDrive collections, which means even MORE ebooks and audiobooks are waiting for you in Libby!

Here’s how it works:
📚 You'll see these systems listed under a "Partner Libraries" list in the Menu of your Libby app.
🏠 You can borrow titles from these collections automatically using your home library card.
🔎 You can also visit and browse these partner libraries directly using this list; you don't need to re-enter your card number or add a separate card!
🎉 When browsing, Libby automatically shows the best availability for titles from all of your saved libraries, including partner libraries.

🥳 Hooray! Our incredible member library, the Vestal Public Library has officially received its Absolute Charter as a School District Library from the New York State Board of Regents! Such exciting news!

Vestal Public Library has officially received its Absolute Charter as a School District Library from the New York State Board of Regents, marking an important milestone in our history.

Our Absolute Charter as a School District Library was granted on July 21, 2026, with assistance from Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo and her staff.
We are grateful to Assemblywoman Lupardo and her team for their assistance in helping VPL reach this milestone and for their support of our library and community.
Here’s to continuing to grow, serve, and be a place for our community for years to come! 📚💚
