Vestavia Hills Fire Department Drone Division was represented this past week at a three-day summit, hosted by Granite Defense Technologies. Alan Bates and Richard Archer attended the Texas Public Safety Responce Robot Summit located in Burnet, Texas, which brought together departments from all over the United States. It was filled with showcasing emerging technologies in response from drones to robots for public safety. The Summit included keynote speakers from industry leaders, live field demos, sUAS pilot training exercises and more.
They trained with other others public safety pilots, learning and gaining knowledge from other peers in the industry. We are looking forward to making this a regular stop for all of our drone pilots the upcoming years.
