Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest is the state’s first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified library. Our facility was constructed of wood from trees cleared off the site and other recycled materials and energy saving designs in its construction.

HOLIDAY HOURS: The Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest will be closed on Sunday, September 6, and Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8th at 9am.

Get ready for free fall fun! Join us for the PALS Pumpkin Patch and enjoy an unforgettable day packed with incredible activities. Pick out and decorate a pumpkin, enjoy fresh popcorn, play the book walk, and let the kids bounce the day away in the bounce house!

While you're there, grab a sweet treat from the Alsies Ice Cream Truck! 🍨 A portion of the sales will go directly to PALS (People Affecting Library Success), our Junior Library Board.
