Get ready for a first-of-its-kind volleyball event in Alabama! 🏐

Join us at Wald Park on Saturday, August 29 for an exciting Outdoor Volleyball Contest hosted by Vestavia Hills High School! Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and settle in on Field 4 as the Rebels take on Mountain Brook, Spain Park, and Thompson.

Match Schedule:
🏐 9th Grade – 1 p.m.
🏐 JV – 3 p.m.
🏐 Varsity – 5 p.m.

All contests are 2 out of 3—come out and cheer on the Rebels! ❤️🤍

Beginning Tuesday, September 8, the VHAC will transition from Summer Swim Hours to our new Fall Swim Schedule. Check out the updated hours below! 👇

🚫 CLOSED

Tuesday–Friday
🏊 8–10 a.m. — Membership: Lap Swim & Programming
💦 1–5 p.m. — Membership: Open Swim
🎉 5–7 p.m. — Private Party Rentals

💦 10 a.m.–5 p.m. — Membership: Open Swim
🎉 5–7 p.m. — Private Party Rentals

🎾 The Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation Department is proud to partner with the Birmingham Tennis Academy to offer exciting Fall 2026 tennis programs! Descriptions are available below! 🎾 REGISTRATION IS OPEN THROUGH AUGUST 30!

The Red Ball Program (Ages 5-8)
This program is designed to provide a fun introduction to tennis for children ages 5 to 8. It will focus on developing hand-eye coordination, agility, and the fundamental skills of tennis.

The Orange Ball Program
(Ages 8-10)
This program is designed for children under the age of 11 who have had an introduction to the sport of tennis. It aims to guide students into competitive tennis by continuing to develop their fundamental skills while introducing them to match play.

Juniors Development Program (Ages 11-18)
This program is designed for beginning juniors aged 11 to 18 years. It is ideal for those with limited match experience. The program emphasizes technique and strategy through engaging drills and match play. Participants will be grouped based on their skill levels.

🍁Fall Miracle League registration is OPEN!🍁 The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and lets them experience the joy of America's favorite pastime - every player hits, every player gets on base, every player scores and every player wins!
