"Fight the Hunger Stock the Trailer" was a HUGE success at the 2025 Switzerland County 4-H Fair!!! The kids were able to donate 2560 lbs of food to the Switzerland County Food Pantry!!

Thank you to all the generous people who helped our 4-Hers make a difference in our community and be competitive in this contest! We'll know sometime in September how they placed in the Southeast region!

$2072.10 was collected before/during the fair besides all the food item donations!

The trailer is setup and ready for donations throughout the week! We'll be @ the Switzerland County 4-H Fair and office, if we're not there please leave your donations in the box or on the table! Thank you for supporting our 4-H members and helping our community! Also, special thanks to Switzerland Co. Tourism Discover Vevay, Switzerland County, Indiana for letting the 4-Hers borrow their trailer for Fight the Hunger Stock the Trailer!

It's Officially Switzerland County 4-H Fair time!! Come visit us at the "Fight the Hunger" trailer to drop off non-perishable food donations! It's located between concessions and the bathrooms! Come to the fair and support our county's 4-H members!

Great info to remember in this heat!

It’s going to be a hot one today!

As fair season approaches, it’s important to keep livestock safe and healthy during extreme heat.

Be sure to: Provide plenty of fresh water, Ensure shade and proper airflow in barns or pens, Avoid working with or transporting animals during the hottest part of the day, Schedule any handling or movement for early morning or late evening hours.

Keeping animals cool and comfortable now will help them stay healthy and ready for fair week!
