Blackgum community sale set for April 23-25

The Blackgum community sale will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 23, 24 and 25, beginning at 7 a.m. at the Blackgum Community Building.

The building will be stocked with sale items, including clothing of all sizes, furniture, household goods, shoes, furniture, and much more.

Prices will be reduced on Saturday, with clothing going for $2 a bag, with all other items being offered at half price.

The Blackgum Community Building is located on Hwy. 100, one mile east of Tenkiller State Park.

Blackgum Fire Department recently had two firefighters complete Firefighter 1 training. We would like to say how proud of the dedication and selflessness these men have shown. Thank you Nathan Summerlin and Jayton Eckhardt for all the hardwork and time you put in.

BLACKGUM FIRE DEPARTMENT MEMBERSHIP DUES.
Dues are $48 a year there are two ways to pay.
1. If you are on Cookson Hills Electric you can have your dues added to your bill at a rate of $4 a month. You can access your account online or visit the office to get it added.
2. Mail a check for the full amount of $48 to Blackgum Fire Department

If you need verification of membership for your homeowners insurance, you must be current on your dues. You can mail the information or email it to [email protected].
What is needed
1. Homeowners name
2. Address of covered home
3. Insurance provides name
4. Insurance policy number
5. Insurance contract information
( Phone number and or address)
We will contact your Insurance provider and give them the information, we DO NOT mail verification to homeowners.
