Happy Danish Days, Viborg!
Dear Former Viborg Residents...
This is your annual reminder that your hometown misses you.
Danish Days has a way of bringing people home.
Whether you moved across the state or across the country, this weekend is about reconnectingโwith old friends, family, classmates, neighbors, and the community that helped shape who you are. There's a pretty good chance you'll run into someone who still remembers you from kindergarten... and they'll probably ask what you've been up to.
If you've never been to Viborg before, welcome! We're glad you're here, and we hope you'll see why this little town means so much to the people who call it home.
Over the next few days, our community will be filled with parades, music, incredible food, hometown traditions, laughter, and memories in the making. Whether you're cheering along the parade route, catching up with friends, supporting our local businesses, or simply enjoying the small-town atmosphere, we hope you have an amazing weekend.
As you're out celebrating, we have just a few favors to ask:
โค๏ธ Be kind.
๐ถ Look out for one another.
๐ฎ Help keep our parks and streets clean.
๐ Park where you're supposed to.
๐ And most importantly... have FUN!
On behalf of the City of Viborg, thank you for celebrating with us. To our visitors, welcome. To those returning home, we're glad you're back.
Have a safe, fun, and unforgettable Danish Days!
Velkommen hjem. Welcome home.
