The Iron County C-4 School District is accepting applications for a full-time Groundskeeper position. Duties include mowing, trimming, maintaining athletic fields and playgrounds, snow removal, landscaping, and operating grounds equipment

Applicants should possess a valid Missouri driver’s license, have the ability to operate lawn and maintenance equipment safely, and be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Experience in groundskeeping and landscaping is preferred.

The Lady Jays have been working hard this summer to improve their skills and strengthen their team. One of our main summer activities was hosting a team camp led by Coach Brotman, Head Coach at Crowley College, along with three of her outstanding players. Throughout the camp, athletes focused on developing footwork, agility, teamwork, and overall volleyball fundamentals.

We were excited to have a total of 31 JH and HS athletes participate. Coach Conaway and Coach Doss are incredibly proud of the dedication and effort these girls have shown. We look forward to continuing to grow, learn, and improve throughout the rest of the summer.

During the board meeting last week, the school board recognized the elementary principal for her years of dedicated service and commitment to the school district. Congratulations to Mrs. Michelle Merseal on her retirement, and best wishes in this next chapter!
