We know October is a way's away, but the library is happy to announce that on October 22nd, we will be hosting Dr. Frankenstein's Toy Laboratory! Bring in old toys to the library, tear them apart, and put them back together as you create magnificently monstrous Halloween companions.

If you have any old toys that you've been looking to get rid of, Ms. Alyssa is accepting specimens for our young doctors to tear apart in our laboratory. If you have any questions, please send a message or drop by Ms. Alyssa's desk to chat! Please bring all donations into Vicksburg District Library by Monday, October 19th.

The types of toys that will work for this program:
- dolls
- action figures
- stuffed toys
- small cars
- essentially toys that are easy to hold, not any bigger than a shoebox, that are character or animal related

Things that won't work for this program:
- toddler toys
- sports gear
- food related toys

Our day is full of activities for teens! At 2:45, our bulldog break will begin -- enjoy snacks, soda, and games in our air conditioned lower level. At 5:30 pm, Ms. Alyssa will be hosting a Teen Survey Social where teens exchange opinions for tasty snacks! Hope to see you there!
