The Official page of the Victor-Farmington Ambulance! In 1970, Victor Farmington Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc.

was formed to serve a critical function in the preservation of life for the sick or injured. Since then, we've fulfilled this duty by providing a variety of services to best Care for our Community. The past four decades have had a few recurring themes at Victor-Farmington Volunteer Ambulance:

• Growth
• Use of the latest technology
• A service provided with-out financial burden to the residents

Our once small towns have grown tremendously in the way of new residents, new commercial/retail/shopping locations, entertainment, and business. Today, our towns rank as the largest and second largest in Ontario County. As our community continues to grow, we commit to keep pace with the growing needs for our services. We provide these services for over 26,000 residences amidst a 43% population growth in Victor, while Farmington is expecting 1,000 additional homes, generating growth beyond the 11% growth experienced this past decade. For over 40 years we've improved our presence in the community as a trusted service provider, transforming from a simple transporter of the sick and injured to area hospitals to an agency that provides emergency medical care meeting pre-hospital industry standards. Our crews are stationed at our base to reduce emergency response time. These crews provide both Basic Life Support (BLS) services as well as Advanced Life Support (ALS) services. Our personnel can perform heart monitoring and can administer life saving medications on the way to the hospital, often saving and preventing further threats to life during the transport time to hospitals. Today, we have a very rare and special opportunity to recognize two of our longest-standing part-time employees working together. Tim Young and Steve Lamarco.

Combined, Tim and Steve have dedicated over 27.5 years of exceptional service to Victor Farmington Ambulance. Their unwavering commitment, operational drive, and decades of clinical and community knowledge are invaluable to our team and the residents we protect.

We are grateful for their continued dedication. Thank you both for your service, stay safe out there!

We took home the trophy! Victor Farmington Ambulance claimed victory in this year's annual golf competition against our brothers and sisters at the Victor Fire Department. It was a phenomenal day out on the course, filled with great shots, better laughs and excellent camaraderie. We want to extend a special thank you to the team at Ravenwood Golf Club for their incredible hospitality and accommodations.

Thank you to everyone who came out to play, support, and make this year's challenge one for the books. We're already looking forward to defending the title next year!

American Red Cross Babysitter's Training Certification

Parents, set your teen up for success. Teens, become the most trusted, highly trained babysitter on the block.

Victor Farmington Ambulance is hosting an official American Red Cross Babysitter certification course designed to teach teenagers the safety, childcare, and business skills needed to be a professional babysitter.

Date: Sunday, October 11, 2026

Time: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Location: Victor Farmington Ambulance Training Center, 380 High St, Victor, NY

What Teens Will Learn:

Safety & First Aid: How to prevent accidents, handle emergencies, and perform basic pediatric first aid.

Childcare Basics: Hands-on practice with feeding, diapering, and safely holding infants and toddlers.

Leadership & Business: How to interview with parents, set fair rates, and build a successful business.

Certification: Participants receive an official American Red Cross Babysitter's Training Certification upon completion.

The legacy of service that Mary leaves behind at Victor Farmington Ambulance and Ontario County is of monumental significance. Having dedicated her career to safeguarding the health and well-being of our community, she assumed the role of Director of Public Health for Ontario County in 2008, serving until her retirement in 2023.

In 2019, Mary graciously brought her invaluable expertise to our Board of Directors, where she continued her service until her passing. Her profound wisdom, strategic guidance, and exemplary leadership served as vital cornerstones during a period of significant growth and evolution, ensuring our agency was positioned to deliver the highest standard of care to those we serve. Thank you for your service, Mary. We will take it from here.

We have officially started relocating equipment to our Farmington location. Tonight these bays will be full. Starting at 6:00 AM tomorrow, this new Farmington location will be staffed 24/7/365.
