Ravalli Electric Co-op is once again joining the fun at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds by donating two scooters for the annual Kids Bike Giveaway at the county fair!

Today is National 811 Day! Whether you're planting a tree, installing a fence or starting any project that requires digging, play it safe and contact 811 first.

A quick call or online request can help locate underground utility lines, preventing service interruptions, costly repairs and serious injuries.

811 services are free and simple to use. Dig smart, and dig into safety before your project begins.

Update12:24 - Everyone in this area has been restored. We are aware of a single outage in Victor and another on Hartbench in Darby.
We are aware of an outage on the Westside of 93 in the Pinesdale and Victor areas. There are about 695 accounts that are affected. We have a crew on site and others headed that way. Because we are in Stage II fire restrictions, the crews will need to thoroughly patrol and inspect before restoring power. Once we know the cause, we will update you on approximate restoral time.

The American Red Cross has declared an emergency blood shortage after the nation's blood supply dropped by 25% in June, leaving hospitals with fewer lifesaving blood products available for patients in need.
