The Village of Victor has partnered with CURE in raising awareness during the month of September to let local families know they are not alone in their battles.
C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association has the mission of raising awareness of childhood cancer and September is childhood cancer awareness month. The awareness ribbon signifying childhood cancer is gold - children are precious like gold. Our community continues to experience childhood cancer, both through new diagnoses and losses. In 2025, 61 local Children were diagnosed with cancer, 5 Children relapsed, and our community lost 5 sweet souls.
We are encouraging Village residents to show their support by changing exterior lights to gold/yellow during the month of September or the week of September 20th, tie gold ribbons to your front doors, or donate at www.curekidscancer.com/donate.

Friendly Reminder that the deadline to submit is today!

NY Forward Village of Victor - Open Call for Projects is now open!

The Village of Victor has been awarded $4.5 million in funding from New York State to plan and implement transformative projects in downtown Victor through the NY Forward program. Business owners, property owners, and public entities are eligible to submit project applications for consideration to the Local Planning Committee.

Visit https://victornyforward.com/ to review the eligibility criteria, download the submission form, and to see submission details. Additional information on the NY Forward program can be found at https://victornyforward.com/. Submissions are due August 31, 2026 at 4PM.

An informational session will be held on August 6th at the Victor Early Childhood School (953 High Street, Victor, NY 14564) following the 6PM public workshop. At this session the open call submission form will be reviewed and time will be reserved for any questions.

As a reminder: The Village of Victor has a Trustee position available on the Board of Trustees. The deadline for resumes to be sent to the Clerk at the Village Hall is September 3rd at 4pm.
