๐ŸŒง๏ธ Rain, rain... and more rain? While the plants may love it, mosquitoes are already making plans for the week ahead. ๐ŸฆŸ

After rain, it only takes a small amount of standing water for mosquitoes to breed. Help keep their numbers down by:

โœ… Emptying buckets, flower pots, and toys that collect water
โœ… Cleaning gutters and drains
โœ… Refreshing pet water bowls regularly
โœ… Checking tarps, tires, and outdoor equipment for pooled water
โœ… Treating standing water that can't be drained

Remember: Tip it. Toss it. Drain it. Every little bit helps reduce mosquito breeding around your home.

Don't let mosquitoes be the only thing thriving after this week's rain! โ˜”

Never drive in flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown!

โ˜”๏ธNever drive in flooded areas. Cars can be swept away or break down. Turn around, don't drown!
โ˜”๏ธStay out of floodwater, it can contain many things that can hurt you or make you sick.
โ˜”๏ธEven experienced swimmers can drown in floodwater. Avoid moving water, regardless of depth or speed. If you are caught in an area where floodwater is rising, wear a life jacket or keep at hand another flotation device.
โ˜”๏ธDo not let a wound touch floodwater. Immediately clean out all open wounds and cuts with soap and clean water.
