This spring and summer, a construction project is taking place to build a roundabout at the intersection of Highway 5 and County Road 11 in Victoria, south of Carver Park Reserve. Beginning April 6, Highway 5 will be closed west of its intersection with County Road 11 and motorists will be unable to access County Road 11 from the highway. The closure is expected to be in place through July.

People planning to visit Carver Park Reserve should follow posted detours and plan to access park features from Highway 7 to the north of the park. All park features will be open normal hours and can be accessed from County Road 11.

The project is a partnership among the City of Victoria, MN, Carver County, Minnesota Government and the Minnesota Department of Transportation and is part of the city’s Downtown West Improvement Project.
