Many new laws took effect on September 1, 2025, be aware and do some research. Not knowing the law is not a defense. For example it is now a State Jail Felony to receive a DWI in a School Zone.. Do NOT Drink and Drive!!!

Criminal District Court starts today at 9am and Misdemeanor County Court cases are having a start time of 10:30am!!! You are required to appear if you are scheduled for court TODAY, 1/22/25!!!

The Pre-Trial Department is Closed on Monday, 1/20/25, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr and will also be closed on Tuesday, 1/21/25, due to the inclement weather. ALL Court scheduled for Tuesday, 1/21/25, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. As of now, ALL court for Wednesday, 1/22/25, remains scheduled therefore you are required to appear for court on Wednesday, 1/22/25. As a friendly reminder, all non-emergency offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
This holiday serves as a time to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his commitment to justice, equality, and service. The Victoria County Pre-Trial Services Department along with all other offices in the Victoria Co Courthouse will be closing down at Noon on Friday, 11/22/24, through 11/29/24 for scheduled courthouse renovations and the Thanksgiving Holiday.
