Yesterday evening the City of Victoria Fire Departments were faced with a couple structure fires and found themselves with limited resources to cover the city. We were asked to back into Station 1 to cover any calls that came up. QCVFD responded with one engine, one rescue truck, one Chief and four personnel. We are blessed to have the continuing partnership with our brothers and sisters with the city to be able to provide this service to them. QCVFD was released around 2am and back in district.

Our 21st Annual Quail Creek VFD BBQ Cook-Off has officially come to an end! ❤️🔥

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our incredible sponsors, the talented cook teams who came out and gave it their all, our vendors and Logan Gisler & The Well Diggers for braving the heat with us, and our amazing community members who came out to support us on both Friday and Saturday.

Thank you as well to everyone who purchased raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets. Every ticket purchased, every donation made, and every person who attended helps support our department and allows us to continue serving our community.

Congratulations to all of our cook teams on a fantastic weekend! We are grateful for your hard work, dedication, and friendly competition.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this year’s cook-off such a success. We truly couldn’t do it without each and every one of you.

We hope to see you all again next year for the 22nd Annual Quail Creek VFD BBQ Cook-Off! 🚒🔥❤️

Don’t forget—TONIGHT kicks off the 21st Annual Quail Creek BBQ Cook-Off! 🔥🍖

We’ve got Logan Gisler & The Well Diggers warming up and ready to take the stage from 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM. Best of all, the concert is FREE and open to the public! 🎶

Come enjoy some great music, good vibes, and delicious brisket sandwiches available for purchase.
$12 brisket sandwich including chips and a drink! Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends, and come hang out with us!

We’ve still got cooks rolling in, and the Cooks Meeting starts at 6:00 PM.

And don’t forget—Saturday’s Vendor Market runs from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, so be sure to come back out and support all of our amazing vendors!
