Victoria ISD Superintendent Sheila Collazo recently participated in the City of Victoria, Texas - Government inaugural Growing Victoria Summit, joining a panel of education leaders to discuss how education plays a key role in the continued growth and prosperity of our community.

All students planning to attend a Victoria ISD campus next year must complete online registration, including:

Registering during the April priority window helps campuses plan for staffing, class sizes, and resources while improving the likelihood of securing placement at your home-zoned campus.

Our Story

Victoria ISD boasts nearly 14,000 students, with 14 elementary schools and 8 secondary campuses. The VISD prides itself on its vast spectrum of academic programs. These include advanced academics, gifted and talented classes, bilingual, pre-AP classes, dual credit courses, AVID, dyslexia, and a whole host of educational opportunities through the special education department. Victoria ISD earned the Texas Education Agencyโ€™s highest accountability rating of Met Standard in 2015. The district was also awarded a Superior Achievement financial rating from the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas.
