Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop by late this afternoon or early evening near a warm front draped between the I-74 and I-80 corridor. Storms will become more widespread across central Illinois late this evening and overnight.

UPDATE *Burn Ban Lifted*

Victoria-Copley Fire Protection District- 🔥🔥**Burn Ban until further notice.** 🔥 🔥

An elevated fire danger exists on Wednesday across portions of central Illinois, mainly near and north of I-72. This is due to the dead and dormant grass, wind gusts of 25-30 mph, and afternoon humidity levels as low as 15%. The greatest risk is from about Macomb to Pontiac northward, where the stronger wind gusts will be slower to diminish in the afternoon. Avoid open burning, and be careful with anything that may trigger sparks.

KNOX COUNTY - U.S. Route 150 is shut down in both directions at County Road 1900 E in Knox County due to an oversize load disabled in the roadway. U.S. Route 150 will be shut down for approximately 24 - 72 hours. IDOT is on scene for traffic control and is setting up an emergency detour.
