Registration is now open for the 2026 MMK STEM Robotics Summer Academy, available exclusively for High Desert students ages 8–12. The weeklong academy will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from June 29 through July 3 at Millionaire Mind Kids, located at 15579 Eighth Street in Victorville.

Limited to 50 students, the program will feature hands-on STEAM robotics activities and STEM projects designed to inspire future engineers, creators, and problem solvers. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to all participants. Families are encouraged to register online as spots are expected to fill quickly.

Hesperia Junior High School is hosting a Community Job Fair next week!

This FREE event will take place from 10am-1pm on Monday, June 1st at Hesperia Junior High School, located at 10275 Cypress Ave.

This Job Fair will feature employers including: The Town of Apple Valley, City of Hesperia, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, San Bernardino County Probation, Victor Valley College, Adelanto Elementary School, Excelsior Charter School, Victor Valley Global Medical, the U.S. Army & Air Force Exchange Service, and more!

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of positions ranging from entry-level to skilled careers. Organizers encourage job seekers to bring copies of their resumes and “dress to impress.”

Erin and Laura, our Nurturing Families Team, had a wonderful time sharing Moses House resources at Child Care Resource Center Outreach Event this past Saturday. They both remarked about how much they enjoy participating in this Outreach Event and was happy to provide resource information to those who attended.

San Bernardino County Regional Parks has extended park hours daily from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 21. 🎉

The extended hours coincide with the summer season, offering additional opportunities for communities to enjoy outdoor recreation later into the evening.

Participating parks include Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park, Glen Helen Regional Park, Mojave Narrows Regional Park, Prado Regional Park and Yucaipa Regional Park.

Whether it’s fishing, biking, hiking, barbecuing, picnicking with family and friends, enjoying the splash pads or playing ball, Regional Parks offers many opportunities to recreate in a clean and safe environment. All parks are pet-friendly as well. 🏞

Today we had a lovely visit from Janet who represents Victorville United Methodist Church. This is the second time she has come by with wonderful hygiene donations for Moses House's Client Store.
The Store is made available for our clients who earn points to spend at this Store as they achieve key milestones within the classes they are taking here. Thank you, Janet!
